Simply Sweet Wife

If you told me four years ago that I was going to be marrying a strong, amazing man of God, loving my family so much it shakes me to my core, and that I'd be cooking, crafting, and blogging like it's my life, I would have laughed in your face.

But, I'm that girl today.

I'm learning daily to be a wife to my best friend (as we prepare to walk down the aisle on 9.10.11), to be a better follower of my never failing God, to enjoy every small moment with my family through all the madness of life, and to cook, craft, and write in order to share with others! My life isn't always simple and, at times, is far from sweet, but it's perfect for me. I'll share with you the ups, the downs, the side-to-side providing you with a laugh more often than not!

My family makes my world go round. I am so lucky for the unmatchable parents God blessed me with and the four siblings that have taught me how to share, to fight fair, to stand up for what I believe in, and to love even when I don't want to. Rain or shine, they make me world brighter, and you'll learn to love them too I'm sure!

My dear J has undoubtedly changed me for the better. I admire his love for my oh-so-obvious imperfections and the way that he pushes me to grow into a bigger, better me! He's tall, handsome, and All American boy, just perfect for me. I'm quickly learning that life as a wife, although simply sweet, isn't always easy, but proves to be worth it every moment of every day.

On top of my love for family and J, I'm teaching myself to be a top chef in my perfectly pink kitchen. Call me the next Paula Deen and I may kiss you! My love for food and for creating has bloomed into a full-fledged cooking obsession... And my time at the Stove Top Science Fair is always rewarding! Beware: Visiting when you're nearly starving to death and your cupboards are empty could be dangerous to your health and mine... I post lots of food pictures and recipes that I promise to be tasty!
